PRIVATE FELDENKRAIS SESSIONS POLICIES

【About the session】 In-person sessions: Functional Integration® is a movement-based learning method used in private Feldenkrais sessions. Gentle touch is primarily used to guide the client through the process.
Online sessions: These focus on a series of slow, mindful movements, guided through verbal instructions to promote awareness and improvement in movement.

Yuka Iwamoto is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (GCFP), authorized by the Feldenkrais Guild of North America. Based on the findings of the initial session, Yuka will determine the best course of action for your session.

Yuka may work with areas of the body other than the specific site of injury or pain. If you experience discomfort, please inform her without delay. This is your responsibility because your comfort is one of the necessary conditions for learning more optimal ways of moving and the overall success of your sessions.

【Scheduling policy】As a courtesy, and to help you remember your scheduled appointments, AWARENESS THROUGH LIFE sends an email reminder 48 hours and a text message (if you chose) 23 hours in advance of the appointment time.

【Rescheduling/Cancellation policy】If your schedule changes and you cannot keep your appointment, please contact Yuka Iwamoto so I may reschedule you, and accommodate those clients who are waiting for an appointment.

【No-show policy】If you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice, a charge of 50% of the service amount will be incurred on your credit card.

【Payment Options】 Online sessions: Schedule and pay online using a credit card. 
In-person sessions: You can pay online or at the end of the session using cash, check, credit card or Zelle. If you schedule online, you must enter your credit card to reserve your time, but the scheduling page offers 3 options: pay when scheduling, pay later or pay at the session.

【Session’s expiration date】Your purchased session/package will be valid for 6 months after the date of your payment.

【Refund policy】If you cancel 24 hours before your first scheduled session, a full refund will be issued. You will receive the full refund receipt email within 48 hours. In total it can take from 9 to 14 business days for you to receive the refund on your credit card.

*No refunds will be available after you have completed the first session.
*No partial refunds will be issued for sessions missed by the client for any reason.

Sessions that are canceled 24 hours before your scheduled session or due to inclement weather, poor internet connection or my illness will either be rescheduled or a prorated session refund will be issued for that session.
